Will Cleric Domains be like Wizard Traditions?

One of the common criticisms of the 3.X cleric was that there was not much to distinguish between clerics of different deities. The domains did not shape or effect the look of the cleric that much, and the cleric's regular spell list was fairly generic but full of possible contradictions depending upon the cleric's deity. (A cleric of a god of life or sun with Raise Dead?) So with the wizard's schools of magic being exchanged for wizardly traditions, should we expect something similar for clerics?

It looks like the wizard traditions are more like say, talent trees, granting specialized abilities/focus.

If that worked for clerics, then all clerics would be the same - except these clerics over here would be better at this than clerics over here, but I doubt that cleric A will get something like Raise Dead while cleric B cannot.

I do wish Clerics were more customizable, especially with their abilities, rather than being the same + domain ("Why does a Priest of the Ocean Turn Undead, exactly?"). It would be cool of the domains basically made specialty priests - the War God's clerics have access to fighter powers, the God of Thieves and Assassins have access to rogue skills, etc.

I think domains will have different powers to choose from. You might select the fire domain and gain power like a 1/encounter fire attack (flamestrikesque). On the other hand, you could select the death domain and gain the ability to create undead.
