I think you sound a bit burnt-out and I suggest that for a few sessions you try running a simpler game, like one of the D&D retro-clones
I would like to second that. Older games tend to be much more free-flowing, without the need to have a certain number of encounters per day or equal difficulty monsters, or any of that unfun stuff.
Get your hands on a good, old-school module and try running a one-shot of Labyrinth Lord or Swords and Wizardry or OpenQuest or something and give that a shot. I assure you, your players will know almost as many rules as you do when the entire rulebook (minus monsters, spells, and treasure tables) is less than 50 pages.
