Hey I need tech help. The windows taskbar buttons keeps disappearing and rearaging a lot of times and was wandering and hoping if anyone knew how to fix this?

The bar itself is disappearing or the application inside it?
If the bar is disappearing you have auto-hide on. Move the mouse to the bottom of the screen, it should now appear. Right click (use the right side of your mouse), left click on the Properties. Click on Auto-hide to remove the mark. Click ok.

What version of Windows? If it is XP is it XP Home or XP Pro?

It's XP Home and it's the the application inside it, not the icon buttons.
I do not fully understand the problem. I can only guess one of three things is happening:
The icons on your desktop are being re-arranged
Or your window is not savings its location.
You have an application that is hiding in your "notification area". Look near the clock on the right hand side of the screen. There should be a row of icons there. If not, click on the arrow pointing left.

I've seen the programs in the taskbar get rearranged if "explorer.exe" (the program that runs all of the pretty Windows stuff) crashes or is killed abruptly. Does the whole taskbar go away for a moment, then come back with some programs missing and/or rearranged? If so, then explorer.exe is probably crashing. Beats me why, though.
I would recommend running a virus check, uninstalling any old software that you don't use any more, and defragmenting your machine. In other words, do a computer checkup and make sure it's running in tip-top shape.

Not the whole taskbar just the buttons for the active windows, like if I Firefox open and winamp program running the buttons that represent them in the taskbar disappears or rearranged. this is only way to explain.
