A Love for All Time.. Yeah yeah.. Double Posty.. A Love for All Time- This dance can take place in any room and in any setting, depending on which people like. Theme- A Love for All Time. Couples attend the dance dressed up in costumes of famous couples throughout history. Single people can come dressed as someone they love, admire. In the TMP examples would be such things as Romeo and Juliet, or Anthony and Cleopatra. In Fantasy examples would be such things as Huma Dragonbane and Gwynneth, or Raistlin and Crysania (I know.. I know.. I’m a Dragonlance dork.) TMP: The Popular Night Club is decorated for the Holiday in a festive display. The bouncer at the door tips his hat, and with a grin offers if you’d like to buy that special someone a flower. Tasteful red and gold hanging lanterns give the room a softer glow than usual, and strings of twinkling lights are strung over the bar and dance floor. Festoons of velvety ribbon are tied across the ends of the bar and tables, a rich and deep red coloration that adds to the atmosphere. The shades of dark crimson and burnished gold garlands decorate the area, celebrating a lover’s holiday. Small bowls of chocolates and candies are arranged along the bar and tabletops, and it seems that all the drinks served by Sam are in some varying shade of red or pink. A collection of soft songs and ballads plays on the air, and perhaps still a band or DJ might step forward to grant those requests to those who are meeting one another on this night. Fantasy: The area is decorated to celebrate the union of lover’s in the cycle of moons and life. Shades of dark rosey pink and silver decorate the area, creating a land of splendid enchantments. Rose petals are strewn along the ground, sprinkled freely about. Fountains of soft light spring forth, created to produce a trickling of magical lights that shade the area. Tables and chairs are arranged, settled to the side of the dance area, and covered with more rose petals. To the back are several tables, laden with treats and delicacies along with all manner of beverages to drink. Stringed instruments play softly, but should any bard or musician be ready to play the effect would dispel so that the live performance would take a central role.
