First Post
Well, i'm at Winter Fantasy. So far its great.
The day started out great with the Eberron preview at 10am.
Keith Baker, Charles Ryan, James Wyatt, and others spoke about the setting and Gave out a sheet with a complete prestige class. The Extreme Explorer. I'll post about him in a subsequent thread.
I was supposed to Dm the first slot for D20 Modern :Ghosts in the Endzone, but not enough players showed, so I was released and Stan! ran the adventure for the GM's.
We technically ended up playtesting the adventure since it wasnt done yet, and It was a blast. Last time he DM'ed me it was a TPK (GenConSoCal), this time I took a few hits but with good tactics I readily survived.
Gonna go back to the center to play some minatures, and hang out with Keith and Charles and Eric Cagle for a bit.
Let me tell you, these are some of the nicest most approachable guys in the industry.
For anyone who's an RPGA Living City player...that campaign will be discontinued.
Also announced from the RPGA is starting Retail packs. A Retailer will be able to register and receive 3 RPGA Adventures. Sets of minatures, and tiles among other things, for use at the store.
D&D Miniatures... wooboy.. Giants of Legend comes out in June. If I understoood Charles Ryan correctly, there will be two boxes. Standard boosters for 10, and the Giant packs consisting of 8 mini's in addition to one giant one. These WILL be more expensive but only by a few dollars.
Thats all i can really remember for now.
Another post will contain the Extreme Explorer...
