If it ain't too cool in your area... play outside, start around 8pm and go into the night... play by candle outside... Have somebody involve in the session by jumping on them during the game... anything goes, as long as they remember...

Hmmm.... I'll remember the silence. Seems like a good idea. I don't know about playing out side. By the time it's dark enough it'll be a little too cold for people. I may try out the candles though. Got a really creepy, leafless, black, stylized iron-tree candelabra from Prague that'll look really great for the mood.

Didn't realize I'd need too many playable NPCs. I'll make sure to do so, though. It's always good to be prepared. After my Ravenloft campaign, I've gotten pretty used to fudging monster statistics for atmosphere. Doesn't look like it'll be too hard with the d20 version of CoC.

Hmm... they say it's 95% done in pre-production. It also says that it is due out in "Late Fall/Early Winter 2004." Has anyone heard if the project has been "unstalled" and whether that release date is realistic or not? I saw that the book is available for pre-order from FRPgames. Is that just speculation on their part?
