Wishlist for Videogames

I was really hoping the GPS add-on for the PSP would be released in the US this year (came out over a year ago in Japan).

I'd really like to see some of the rarer (and better) Sega Saturn games get re-released on the PSP. Panzer Dragoon Saga, Guardian Heroes, Dragonforce.

I think Sega is going Wii now for the most part. I know a lot of Dreamcast games are getting sequals on the Wii.

I want more console ports to the PC, especially from the 360. I can't believe the folks who sell Windows aren't pimping PCs along with their pet joystick pump platform.

Specific dreamy wishlist? More KOTOR (however they'd like to sell it to me, I'd consider selling a kidney to buy a Wii or PS3 if that were their sole license) and SPORE.

If you can, pick up a DS and play Dawn of Sorrow. I don't think you'll be disappointed. The prequel to that, Aria of Sorrow came out for the GBA maybe 3 years ago. If you can, find the game used, grab a GBA player and hook it up to your Gamecube (assuming you have one) and enjoy.

I've played both, and they were good games. However, I would really like something on a console (even Wii) instead of a handheld, that has fully utilized the graphical and processing power (compared to handhelds) on the units. I don't understand Konami's reasoning behind only producing handheld Castlevania games, since SotN is widely regarded as one of the best platformers on the PS1.

- Suikoden VI+
Sadly, it seems Konami isn't making oen right now. Still, eventually...

They may be working on it, and haven't announced it yet. Supposedly, they started work on Suik 4 and 5 at the same time after Suik 3... so to produce another game of Suikoden 5's caliber will probably take a while. I wouldn't be too worried.

I'd love to see a Final Fantsy VI redone as a more modern game.

Have you heard about the latest FFIV remake on the DS that just came out in Japan? You should go read up on it. I would assume if it does well, FFV and FFVI would get the same treatment.

Yes, I'd be happy with a KOTOR MMORPG, since that's one of the things they're rumored to be doing/looking into.

A Star Wars MMO done by Bioware could be pretty awesome. They've never actually done one before, but then again, neither had Blizzard.

They have been making console Castlevania games, though they have not exactly been the best entries in the series. The better question is why they havn't been making good 2D Castlevania games on consoles, rather than making bad 3D prequels and spinoffs...

Unfortunately, one of the main designers from the previous Suikoden games has stated in an interview that there is no Suikoden game under development right now. He might have misspoken or there might have been a translation error or something, but it seems that there really isn't one under development.[/QUOTE]

A Star Wars MMO would be the bomb.

But a MOO MMO would be a nuclear bomb. :uhoh:

Doh! That does make me sad. :(
