How much home brew do you collect?

Just counting the "unofficial" monsters you have downloaded from the internet, from various posts or whatever, how many different D20 monsters do you estimate you have? Include 3rd and 3.5 editions.

How do you store them ?

Are they organized in a word processor ?
Printed in a book ?
Kept as links in a browser ?
Are they organized at all ?​

Back in 2e days, I used to print off a bunch of monsters from the 'net - hell, DRAGON used to have a lot of their stuff available for free online. I found a lot of neat stuff that way.

Nowadays, I mostly just use the Creature Catalogue when the need arises... which is rarely.

Zero. I have never and probably will never use a monster someone's written up and posted on the Internet. I'm just not interested in sifting through the chaff - at worst, if I'm concerned about the quality of a published monster book, I can seek out reviews of the book in question.

I'm a fan of EnWorld's Creature Catalogue. I've pilfered from it liberally.

EnWorld's critters have seen light in my campaigns from time to time.

Other than that, not so much. Occasional web enhancement from various sources I suppose.

Homebrew critters? Very, very rarely. Just haven't really had the need. I can make pretty much any critter that I need to make with the SRD and templates.

I used to use a lot. Back in the 2e days, someone made a database of monsters. I wrote a program that would access that database and print out a form in standard format.

But these days, not so much. And come to think of it, I think that was mostly TSR monsters in that database (it was officially sanctioned, so it was legal, I'm pretty sure).
