I intended to vote transmutation. "the world would be perfect" answer was the alphabetic one, so I guess I voted correctly. However the "I'ts alive" answer, though intending to be Necromancy (I guess), could just as well be conjuration (summoning) or transmutation (animate object).

I went with archmage. I personally do not care that much for specialist wizards. For all their vaunted strengths and extra spells, they are a little predictable. Predictability means that my character has a good idea of your strategies and can prepare accordingly. As a player, I prefer to keep my character's foes guessing about what actions I will take against them.

In the end, strategy is more important than specialization.

A web poll shouldn't be taken too seriously. Especially not one with dubious alternatives to begin with. However, I was rather surprised to see that Necromancy is the most popular school. I would have thought Evocation. Oh well, at least my Conjurer is quite rare, then.

I guess when you say "Necromancer" even non players know its a guy meddles with death and dark magic... the name has more power than "Enchanter" or "Evoker"...

Spells in Necromancy... arent very good IMHO Opposition school is easier to pick
