Wizards and their keywords

It's just a shame that there's no +damage Feat for Force keyword Powers (at least not that I know of?), except for that paragon one that is quite situational... understandable since Force is the most reliable damage source when it comes to the wizard...

I'd expect to see some more support to a couple more of those Keywords, in articles and Splatbooks, like that Class Acts (with several Psychic keywords), and Arcane Power. Even though, obviously, Fire and Cold (and Force to some extent) are the focus, so that, even if, say, Lightning gets more love, so will Fire and Cold.

Quite interesting thread. I imagined the wizard would be a bit more open to all 4 "greek" elements (Fire, Cold (Water), Lightining (Air), Acid (Earth) ), along with Force (raw Arcane "Essence"), and not the standard adopted by WoW.

Another point to consider when looking at this information is that the wizard gets to choose his powers. If he takes a feat that adds to two types of damage, and assuming there are a requisite number of powers with those types, he could conceivably make all or most of his powers match up those keywords, even if there aren't as many of them as, say, fire or cold.

The information in post #10 made progress toward addressing this point, but it's still an issue not completely realized in this thread so far.

I'm not sure how viable this technique would actually be based on power keyword spread by level and power type, but I'm sure it would apply to at least a reasonable degree on a by-character basis.
