Care to share any comments on those Eberron adventures? I got the campaign book and was wondering if they too were any good. Also, will there be any Eberron miniatures in the new release?

I love the Eberron adventures for their ideas and feel, but they may have structural problems - I'm intending to run them in the next few weeks, so I'll have more of an idea of what they're like after that.

My review of Shadows of the Last War is here: http://www.enworld.org/reviews/index.php?sub=yes&where=active&reviewer=MerricB&product=ESotLW

However, it's not a playtest review, so take it with a pinch of salt. :)

They're not traditional adventures, though they have traditional elements.

Incidentally, the adventures are what sold me on the Eberron setting; I've found the ECS not that inspiring. (I like elements of it, but it doesn't grab me as much as the adventures have).

Cheers!

I'm hoping that we have a Complete Psion/Psychic book, but don't think that'll be possible.

As far as a Complete Monster, why not just update Savage Species and while they're at it, the Epic Level Handbook? That would give them two more books out the gate.

On updates, would people be more angry if they found out in the next printing of those books that WoTC changed them to 3.5 with no announcement or if WoTC redid them and made a big deal out of it? I know either way they'd take some flak.

The miniatures releases have slowed now to three per year; though there's a big (five-month) gap between Set 5: Aberrations and Set 6: Death Knell. (Fine by me! I might just be able to get my finances into order...)
Amen to that! Whew!!! I won't have to sell the house after all!!! ;)

see if you can find a thread started by Olgar Shiverstone concerning the Eberron adventures.

Looks like I'll be saving more money. As usual in recent years, WotC releases hold no interest for me. I'll look at the Codex Anathema book, but after LM, I'm a bit leery. Maybe I'll get it on heavy discount.

Other than that, I'll buy the FR book, which are the only WotC books I consistently buy (since I have a decades long FR campaign).

and I don't know if it worries those still playing FR, because there's certainly a lot of material already available for them.
It doesn't. Really, there are only 3 areas of the Realms that haven't been touched in any published product: Nimbral, Lantan, and Sossal (though Impiltur could be considered undetailed as well).

With the release of Shining South and Serpent Kingdoms (the two best 3e FR products by a long shot), everything else has at least an adequate amount of detail that I'm not too concerned about the number and/or frequency of FR releases.

Whats left? Looking into my crystal ball...

Eberron is bound to get another book beyond RoE. I'm thinking the next book will be Xen'drik or the Mournlands. These are two elements highly discussed in Eberron products. I also think you'll see a Dragonmarked Book soon.

The Monster-Book Series will probably go with Giants, Fey, or Planar Monsters (Fiends mayhaps?) I really can't see animals, monsterous beasts, or plants getting there own title.

Now that Harbinger and Dragonseye are getting alot less common (and archfiends is slowly heading that way...) I think we might get a chance at "collectors sets" of minis. Basically, repackage (with small paint updates) some of the common critters from those boxes, sans cards and marked for non-legal tourney play (if they wish to keep the tourney ratio legal).

The Enviromental Series will see another two books: An Aquatic Setting and an Jungle Setting. Mark my words.

There might be another Monster Manual, but don't expect it to have a number convention. What hasn't been used at this point?

Expect another Map Folio. Whooopie!

Realms will get at least another region book (maybe its time for the North, Dragons Coast, or the Heartlands to get its region book).

Beyond that, clouded the future is...

I think all those are likely. Xen'drik is the setting for the D&D MMORPG (sort of a strange choice as it's not really a good showcase for mainstream D&D, IMO, but whatever), so I'd expect a book for that to come out close to open beta (if they have one) of that game, playing off the info the developers were given. I also wouldn't be surprised to see a book covering Sarlona and Argonnessen, but likewise, I wouldn't be surprised to see them sit on those two continents for a long, long, long time. The Eberron planes are interesting enough to merit a book as well -- or maybe just some modules set out there.

I'd love Giants and Fey, but I'd really, really, really like to see elementals and genies get a book. Bring back Janti as an official language, bring back the Shi'ar, update the Elemental Savant (and make it less suck), give the Bonded Summoner more coverage, bring the tasked genies from Al'Qadim back to 3.x, etc.

The Enviromental Series will see another two books: An Aquatic Setting and an Jungle Setting. Mark my words.
I sure hope so. The "Far Corners of the World" series on the WotC site seems to be running out of steam a little bit at this point, IMO, although I've enjoyed it all along.

Er, IV to infinity?

I like that MM3 essentially works as an Eberron monster book. I hope they continue that trend in future monster books. It may be just me, but I also wouldn't mind if they went back and brought MM2 and FF into 3.5 compliance. People could keep their old ones and the downloaded errata if they wanted, but some of us would like to have the proper versions between two hard covers.

YMMV, but WotC is putting out at least one book that I want to get my hands on (almost) every month.

November sees me picking up Complete Arcane. Nothing in December, which is just fine due to having to buy X-Mas presents and such. January sees the release of Complete Adventurer. In February I'll likely pick up Races of the Wild and I'll look at Ancient Empires before I buy it. March brings me at least one case of Deathknell minis. In April I'm definantly going to pick up Races of Eberron.

As for the future, here's what I would like to see:
Complete Psions book

Epic Level Handbook 3.5

Savage Species 3.5, but leave out all the templates. Just give me a big book of monster classes and options for monster characters. I don't really want monster classes for elementals or really wierd creatures. Give me monster classes for more common creatures from the whole gammut of WotC monster books. Sure, I can (and have) do them on my own, it's not hard, just time consuming.

An update to Monsters of Faerun to 3.5

Region sourcebooks for Eberron. Start fleshing that world out.

Beyond that, I think my D20 gaming needs are pretty well met.
