Wizardy types in M&M

Sorry guys I fully intended to come back I just haven't had very much free time lately. If I can't get back to this by tomorrow I fully intend to have it up by Sunday at latest. I thought it through in terms of points per level and think I may try to fit in some Super strength cause who expects a strong spell caster? Make the character the spawn of Satan or some such. always wanted to play as a demon anyway. Yeah but sorry to have said I'd be back, and then not come back before.

Edit: okay my use of "fully intend" doesn't look very good there. But I really do plan to finish this up.

Alright if anything is wrong or could've been done better or will be affected by stacking limits that I didn't notice, please tell me. The character (who I've yet to name, but I'm thinking "The Metaphysician") is written at PL 15. You may notice he's got the sidekick feat and no sidekick as of yet. I had one statted up but I don't like the way it came out.

Abilities: Str:10, Dex:14, Con: 14, Int:20, Wis:14, Cha: 20
Attack: Melee: 5 (5 points bought) Ranged: 7
Saves: Damage: 2 Fort: 2 Reflex: 2 Will: 2
Initiative: 2
Defense: 10+5+2+0=17
Hero Points: 10 (from Hero's Luck)
Skills: Knowledge(Occult) 10, Move Silently: 10
Feats: Sidekick, Hero's Luck, Hero's luck
Powers: Sorcery+15 [spells: Telekinesis, Forcefield, Telepathy, Invisibility, disintegration, flight, energy blast(electricity), healing, teleportation.]
Precognition+6
Luck+3

he looks to be ~7 points under your allotted total by my quick eyeballing. (though note that i don't have my book out at the moment, so i could be wrong.)

Points look right.

The most obvious problem is that he is very glass jawed for a mage. His saves for fort, ref, will at +2 for a 15th level character make him as weak as your normal human at resisting effects like mental attacks, flashes, entangles, drains and the like.

I would recommend something like:

Ring of Protection (16 pp total)
Amazing save +8 Fort
Extra: Reflex
Extra Will
Flaw Device

16 points total....okay so if I lose all the points of luck...and one skill point (Lets say from Knowledge(occult) it'll fit.
