Thanks for the response and the explanation. I do find it very odd though why I had to ultimately complain about the Wizkids forums on ENWorld before I received a reply or any explanation at all. I am quite sure they did think about it. And you see, that's the problem. Their thoughts are the reason that I am not going to purchase a single thing from Wizkids ever again. They are selling games and are enabling discussions about those games over the Internet. An internet full of spam and brimming with porn. There is not a single user on these forums I wager - not one - who has not received direct e-mail spam concerning:

penny stock manipulation scams;
drugs to make our peckers, harder, longer, or one's semen to increase in volume; or
some mail advertising a tart on some webcam, somewhere, who'll do whatever perverted thing we ask her to do as long as we have a credit card number at the ready.
And the people "complaining" about the spam on the forums get it in their inbox too. That's the reality of the internet on which Wizkids LLC has decided to do business. It's the same reality for everybody else, too. When they came up with this policy, they decided that the offence a few might take to the spam of others outweighed the great inconvenience of having to wait 12 or 36 hours for a post to appear, the disabling of links and the deletion of information to any off-site source. As if they were selling My Little Pony and the internet was not inter-connected. In short, they valued the potential outrage of a few wingnuts over something they didn't do (post spam), over the anger and inconvenience of their paying customers over a deliberate choice that Wizkids LLC actually made. And that's where they lost my money. Right there. And it is a decision that does not deserve much respect or understanding, imo. The whole internet operates in the same environment - and I have not seen anybody else institute such a ridiculous policy. If you favor the sensitivities of a few over the convenience of many, you make the wrong decision. You are not trying to promote your game - you are trying to avoid any negative reaction on the part of anybody to your game. A very different set of priorities. But they are not selling My Little Pony or the Care Bears. They are selling games based around blowing crap up. And when I attempted to post that very complaint in the above paragraph - they refused to post it. And that is why they have lost any chance at getting more of my money. It's gone - and it's not coming back.
