Wizkids next license... Shadowrun

I thought the next license was the Indy comics line of Heroclix they just recently announced...

Technically, that's not a new line - just an expansion of a current line. WizKids considers Heroclix to be a single line. Indeed, they are designed to be interchangeable.

WizKids also has added Crimson Skies ( http://www.wizkidsgames.com/wk_article.asp?cid=37438&frame=Ourgames ) which many have know about for a while. Also, they have announced a Clix game aimed at the 10 and younger crowd called "Creepy Freaks" ( http://www.wizkidsgames.com/wk_article.asp?cid=37454&frame=Ourgames ).

Supposedly, there is still a game system they are working on that's supposed to be announced at GAMA. Rumor is that it's a licensed product, and a big, highly secretive one at that (Star Wars & Star Trek being the leading rumors).

GOOD LORD, THEY'RE HUGE!

That's VERY different from what I was thinking, and looks quite fascinating.

However, a line of Steve Jackson licensed Car Wars Heroclix would still rock.

EDIT - Re-read Krug's post. Hopefully, it's not just rumor.

Oh, I realize it's not a new line. But the title of the thread says new license, not new line. Again, another pedantic joke falls flat... :(

Good point. I missed that subtlety.

I wonder if it really counts as a "license" when you own the license? (i.e. WizKids owns the Shadowrun license & licenses it out to FanPro to produce the rest of the Shadowrun products).

There is one female character, in the back left of the group shot, that does not have a "close-up" picture or a name. Since she's the only one left out, I'm very curious about her. Anyone know who she is or if I missed something?

Oh, yeah, the elven mage looks straight out of D&D. No tech at all, that I saw.

Some of the characters are actually the sample characters from the RPG. That might be the Weapon Specialist, but it's hard to say.
None of them had names before now.

I need me a troll!
