[WoD] A Beginning to the End -- New York By Night

Seeing Melody's plight Horus, using his grace and speed, approaches the owner of The Maze. Almost as if he appeared out of nowhere he was in front of her extending his hand formally. "I have not had the chance to thank you for preparing this evening young one. I applaud your decision to refuse a childe. It is my opinion that they can only get in the way, especially in one's own formative years as yourself, no?" He stares at her with his ageless eyes in what could be considered a mixture of dominance, sympathy, and lustfullness. "So please, will you allow me to thank you with a dance?"

Melody smiles at the elder vampire while she drops a curtsy, she has noticed him inside her club a few times already in the past.

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy the evening. It saddens me, that not everyone can, but we must understand the importance of such issues, I suppose.

It will be a pleasure to dance with you.

She then links arms with him and follows him to the dancing floor.

As he heads off to dance with Melody, Horus throws a glance towards Francis in the corner. "Pathetic creature isn't he? Now even more so I suppose. I wonder how he will cope with being an orphan?"

He begins to lead her in a dance, "I would watch myself Ms. Melody. If Rigger really is responsible for all the fuss with Elias, your sire may fast become unpopular between Rigger and his co-conspirators. Thus that prejudice may fall upon you and your sister. As I like coming to this club to pass the time, and.. to catch glimpses of the owner, I would certainly not want to have anything happen to you, now would I?" Horus' voice becomes little more than a whisper as he continues, "If it turns out that your sire cannot afford you the proper protection in the event this all happens, do feel free to seek me out. I believe you know where to find me, hmm?"

After the Prince's announcements, Marcus looks lazily around the establishment, noting the actions and reactions of the others. "I suppose," he murmurs to Elena, "that it would be quite rude to leave, but it would really give me great pleasure to question that condemned man." He slides his eyes toward the exit.

Melody shakes her head about Horus' comment on Francis.

I don't know him, how could I make a judgement like this? So, Rigger was ... is ... his sire? Well, how would you react, if you found out, that your father was a kinslayer?

She follows his lead perfectly, Melody is a very good dancer.

While I don't think I'm in danger, it would be foolish not to assume that such a thing might happen, so I thank you for your concerns and will surely remember your offer in time.

"Quite surprising disposition towards his kind for a Toreador. But each to his own I guess." he sighs, with a slight smile across his lips, and continues to dance.

OOC: Auspex 0 I was just asking, since I use the colors differently (color+italics = speech, no color+italics = thoughts, no color+no italics = general). But I guess we won't confuse all that stuff... it's usually pretty clear how it is meant...

Am I required to hate him? Don't get me wrong, I'm not particulary fond of the Nosferatu, but I don't have any personal quarrels with them either.

OOC: Just to tell, I am a pretty famous Electro Acoustic Music creator and player, and anyone who know a bit of it in New York would have heard my name. If you come Outside New York or don't listen much music, you may not have heard of me. (Fame 2)

OOC: I suppose, Melody knows your name in that context, given that she owns a night club and spends a lot of time there, dancing and listening to the music as well. She might not know how you look like, tho, and you're obfuscated as well, so that wouldn't help anyways.

"The Right of Progeny? Quite an honour." Paul comments to Mathew, then frowns slightly on seeing Horus lead Melody to the dance floor.

"I worry for that one. It's never good for any of the Serpents to take an interest in you, and she seems to have his full attention." He glances over to a corner of the Maze, and places a hand on Mathew's shoulder.

"I'll be back in a minute. I just want to have a chat with the rather gloomy Nosferatu over there."

Paul makes his way across the club, arriving just moments after Nick starts to speak with Francis. He stands at a slight distance, eavesdropping on the two Kindred talking.
