WOIN Weapon Cards

Bit of an idea I had. (although not 100% original) Playing card sized

Federation and Arkwright just for illustrative purposes. All me own worked, drew them from scratch.

Of course doing cards for guns that exist would be easy..

I'm not sure, but I think I like the icons.

Now I have seen them all together... yeah.
The Sten really shows they could be needed.
Perhaps - genre specific icons?

Very useful indeed! I agree with Morrus in that the ones with the icons look better.

Ok, what do you think of the icons?

i favour semiotics, like Ron Cobb created for Alien.

I'm not sure all of them are very intuitive. Damage and range are, but availability, weight, and size not so much. And it looks a little odd listing credits and also another currency symbol, since credits is actually a currently unit in the game.

Googling around, maybe for weight something like this:

Availability (which is pretty much "tech level") maybe a gear/cog like this:




Price is harder, as all my googling results in dollar signs. The three currency units are $, cr, and gc. Maybe a price label like this:




Anyway, just some ideas.
