Wolves of Maldeen

I kind of thought it would be like a mass distracting effect or something. Distracting and chaotic feints making it hard to see for the npc's what the pc's are doing and such, orchestrated by the Warlord...

If you use Manticore and Wyvern against two enemies that are both marked, let's say by two paladins, do those two enemies both now take -2 to their attacks and get dealt radiant damage?

"Execute evasive pattern Deta Two!" We playing Starfleet battles now? Besides concealment, means they are literally concealed, and it can trigger other things like using sneak to hide. A rogue could hid in plain sight thanks to this.

Neglecting how hard it is to explain, doesn't it seem a little overpowered (even for a Daily 20th)?

All allies get concealment from all attack attacks.

The only way it seems balanced is if the range for the effect is determined by the melee weapon after all

"A weapon’s reach or range determines the reach or range of a power it’s used with."

Hence all the allies that gain concealment need to be adjacent the Warlord and/or all enemies effected by it need to be adjacent to the Warlord.

That could be the Warlord waving a cloak in a distracting pattern or some other (explainable without magic) effect.

That's maybe the better question - how does it stack up against other dailys? Basically, we're talking something like +2 defense and the ability to hide at any time. Is this comparable to other level 20 effects that (can) last an encounter?

Is anybody else getting a strong vibe of Saitō Hajime from Rurouni Kenshin from this write up? ("Aku Soku Zan" - literally "Slay Evil Immediately")

Writing rules stuff is hard... Look at the following sentence: "When you end your movement 2 squares from an enemy, you can shift 1 square as a free action."

Does "end your movement" mean finish a move action, or end your movement for the round? Does 2 squares from an enemy mean 2 squares from any enemy, or 2 squares from the closest enemy?

I would say finish a move action and 2 from the closest enemy, but I am sure many would disagree. Might just be me in a poedantic mood, but it feels like they have not really found their standard phrases for writing 4th Edition rules yet.

A decent article otherwise. I would skip the alignment restriction on the path if I used it, though.
