Had a really nice B-Day
My last couple of birthdays were just me & my cat, so I'd forgotten how nice it is to spend it with friends or family. Mom & dad took me to the mall (which we weren't sure if we'd make it to with the freezing rain we had) and we had a really nice time. Picked up a few magazine for the train ride home, including DreamWatch which I'd been looking EVERYWHERE for down here, had a nice dinner with the 'rents at Ruby Tuesday's, got overwhelmed at Sephora (too much stuff, not enough time... & SO many PRETTY colors
), had a Haagan Daaz Cappucino Commotion ice cream cone (which I haven't had in years...MMMMMMMM!), and I got a couple of cool toys for the kittie (if I don't bring something, she'll be quite miffed and my stuff will get quite peed on
). Only two things marred the outing: still can't find Astonishing X-Men #7 (tomorrow I check a comic book store on the way to the train, AND I lost the two really cool Amy Brown button pins (one a fairy on a bubble & the other a fairy on a stack of books... SO ME) while we were still at the mall. I quick called and gave them my mom's name & # just in case someone returns them to the store (yeah, right!).
So, if you'll all excuse me, I still have to pack. Tomorrow we'll quick visit my grandma before we leave early for the Poughkeepsie station so we can stop at a couple of places... & Monday morning, I go to get my kittie from the being boarded at the vet
