Woo Hoo! Martin news

It's on his site as well as on Westeros' forums, the main GRRM fansite for discussion (a dreadful forum set up if there ever was one. Those guys need a real web admin badly.)

IF you care to go poke around it, the link is here. I do warn you though that the site has a lot of semi-spoilers, so know what you are getting yourself into if you click that link.

GRRM has attended a lot of sci-fi conventions over the world over the past 5 years. At every one of them, he reads a chapter or three. The main plotlines for every chapter he has read to the public over the past five years is therefore summarized there from the perspective of each of a dozen plus fans in attendance for each chapter's reading.

Not saying the AFfC is thus revealed, but I would guess the main plotline to the first 200 pages is reasonably discerrnible if you read those discussions.

Martin's in the "wait for paperback" category for me because I don't switch formats halfway through a series, and I own the first four volumes (the third book being split into two) in paperback.
