Ah... I'm happy.

I've just bought a bunch of new boardgames.

* Imperial
* Twilight Imperium 3rd edition
* Shogun
* Ticket to Ride
* Ticket to Ride: 1910 USA expansion
* Advanced Squad Leader: Starter Kit #1

Oh, and Complete Champion. That last I got for about aus$35. It's meant to be us$30. How does that work? ;)

Cheers!

Almost got the kids Ticket to Ride for the holidays but went with Blokus instead.

We really loaded up this past winter with new games - Heroscape, Star Wars minis, RoboRally, and Runebound to name a few. I've lately been thinking about picking Labrynth.

Only wish we played more around the house. Maybe once summer break begins! :)

Yeah, TI *is* a heavy box. Mind you - and surprisingly - so is Imperial!

I'll get to play TI in a week's time as well, so I'm looking forward to that. :)

Ticket to Ride is a great game; although I think Ticket to Ride: Europe is an even better game (and more family-friendly).

My collection of games is growing...

Cheers!

I thought that you already had Ticket to Ride Merric?

And when do you find time to play all these games? Between 4 D&D games and work, surely you must not have any free time!

Can you tell that I'm jealous? :o :D

I have Ticket to Ride: Europe; not the original. (Well, now I have both). Now I need Ticket to Ride: Maerklin Edition. ;)

I work part-time; Tuesday-Friday (morning only on Friday). Play D&D Friday afternoon & evening, and every 2nd Sunday afternoon. Play boardgames (for about 10 hrs) every 2nd Saturday, plus solo sessions at home (Arkham horror mostly), and occasional weeknight games at Randy's.

Games played in the Last 30 Days...

Cheers!

If you only work part-time then how the heck can you afford all these goodies in the first place?

I'm not trying to pry so don't answer my question if it makes you uncomfortable. It's just that I know how expensive European board games and D&D books are in Australia. I also know that you don't buy them from online stores overseas so you are paying whatever price they're charging at your LGS (or Melbourne GS as the case may be).

Cool! It's always fun to get new games. I'm into boardgames as well and frequent both this site and BGG. I've got too many games which I haven't even played yet and just ordered more.

I've wanted to try Imperial. TI3 is great but very long. I like Shogun a lot.
