WOOT!!! It's on it's way.

If anyone DOES have questions... I'll be here to answer them! Tomorrow, that is. For now? An attempt to reclaim some of the precious hours of sleep Gen Con stole from me. :)

I have two questions.

1) At what point do I start panicking about not getting a .pdf link (I got an email saying my order had shipped on the 16th).

2) Why aren't the pdf files merged into one large document? I've bought a fair amount of pdfs of back issues of Dungeon and they are all split into several files. It seems like proper bookmarking would be a more efficient way to navigate documents rather than having multiple versions.

Thanks!

I've got two issues coming through my Dragon/Dungeon subscription. Does that mean I get the PDF from the 2 issues of Pathfinder I have coming or just the print one?

As far as I am aware, you will still get the PDF's as well as the print issues. However, unless you have signed up as an ongoing subscriber you won't receive a print copy of the Player's Guide. It is free to download as a PDF or only $2 to buy a copy though.

I got the shipment pending email back on the 16th, but alas no shipment notification or link to PDF yet. :(

Maybe it will be waiting for me when I get up in the morning.

I just went to my Paizo account and downloaded it. There was no link in my e-mail either.

I've read most of it. The adventure and most fo the history of Sandpoint.

Very nicely done. I like you attention to detail about all the PC to NPC interaction, the classic hero worship, and the use of TOME OF HORROR monsters!!

However, there are a fair number of mispellings, so expect complaints from the people who are irritated by such things.

Excellent start Paizo. I really enjoy the thorough establishment of back ground, connecting the PC's to Sandpoint, and the solid history of the lands and Sandpoint itself. I look forward to the future issues and revealing of even more about these intriguing histories and how the PC's are to become wrapped up in them.

Very, very good start.

I have a question! My Paizo email didn't seem to include a link either. When I go to my acount on the Paizo page, a green link says "Download this file" under the Pathfinder 1 waiting, but the link is dead, it's just text. How can I get my download?

You have to hit the personalize download link first. That'll apply a watermark to the file so you can't just go spreading it all over the Internet.

I missed this thread when I posted my review thread. I'll post what I posted there here as well...

Or at least I have the electronic download (for now). Anyone want to know anything about it? There will almost certainly be spoilers in this thread. If you plan on playing this adventure as a character DO NOT READ THIS THREAD.

I've read about 2/3s of it... and my impression is pretty favorable so far. The Goblins in here are, as a design note describes, "Stupid little freaks." Comical until they chew your face off. Much of the adventure deals with these little nasties, and that's a good thing.

The adventure takes place in four different areas: Sandpoint itself, the Sandpoint Glassworks, the Catacombs of Wrath (a "semi-optional" dungeon), and Thistetop (a goblin stronghold in the mostly sunken head of a statue).

Positives:
---------
Goblins.
Sandpoint seems very intriguing. Lots of opportunities for player involvement.
The Chopper backstory... Creepy.
Runewells. A very interesting idea... Magical sources powered by souls of sin.

Negatives:
----------
The Glassworks is mostly empty except for one or two large battles... Seems like a waste... Why bother to describe 20 rooms when all the action is really going to take place in one?
I could have had more adventure and less other stuff... But I guess that's what Pathfinder #2 is for.

And that's just the adventure and Sandpoint section. There's also a bestiary, the Pathfinder Journal, and a description of Thassilon.
