Honestly, this game is overhyped. And this is coming from someone who PLAYED it. Managed to play it at a Con week ago. Hour wait almost...for just 15 minutes of multiplayer. It was fun and all, but really just didn't seem to live up to the first one.

Dude. You were playing an early build of a single multiplayer level. You can't judge the whole game based on that.

I can't wait to learn the next chunk of the story!

I'm taking off work from November 9th through the 12th so I can play through the single-player campaign!!

By the way, if you like Halo, I'd really recommend reading "Fall of Reach" and "First Strike." I read them just so I could say that I had, but they turned out to be really well written!

Oh, I know. Though truthfully, I think I'm more angry at myself for actually getting in that stupid line...it was great, and fun, but NOT worth the long wait. Nothing was worth that wait. I'm just being spiteful, when the game is actually released, I'll forget all about it.

Yep. Those two, the ones written by Eric Nylund, were great. The other one The Flood... pass. If you've played the game, you know what happens. And the writing wasn't very good in my opinion. Nylund puts him to shame.

That's what I figured. The collector in me drove me to buy The Flood, but I haven't read it yet... based on lame reviews.
