D&D General Working on a Forgotten Realms site (Cormyr + Eveningstar campaign project)

Gendril

First Post
Hi all,
I just wanted to share a hobby project I’ve been slowly working on over time:

👉 Forgotten Realms - Lore, Campaigns & Resources

I still get the occasional message (maybe once or twice a month) from people who stumble across the site asking if it’s still active, so I figured I’d make a post and confirm — yes, I’m still working on it, just at a slow and steady pace 🙂

What I’m working on

A) Cormyr – Detailed Lore Project

One of my main focuses is building as accurate and detailed a description of Cormyr as possible, based closely on original sources.

That includes:
  • Settlements (large and small)
  • Trade, geography, and politics
  • Notable locations, shops, taverns, etc.
  • Trying to preserve the original “travel guide” tone from the books

The goal is basically to create something that feels like a complete in-world guide to Cormyr.

B) The Eveningstar Campaign (Kingmaker-style project)

👉 The Eveningstar Campaign – Forgotten Realms Setting Overview

This is the second big project and something I really often think about but time does not permit me to build a lot.

I’m starting to build a Kingmaker-style campaign framework set around Eveningstar, including:
  • Regional map and locations
  • Settlements and points of interest
  • Foundations for encounters, factions, and progression
Right now it’s still early stages — more of a framework and idea space than a finished campaign.

Looking for feedback / ideas

If anyone takes a look, I’d really love feedback on things like:
  • Is it easy to navigate?
  • Is the content useful at the table?
  • Anything missing that you’d expect?
And especially for the Eveningstar project:
👉 If anyone wants to contribute ideas, that would be awesome.

That could be:
  • Encounter ideas
  • Small locations
  • NPCs
  • Hooks or events
  • Or just random cool thoughts that fit the area
No pressure of course — I just thought I’d open it up in case others enjoy building this kind of stuff as much as I do.

Anyway, thanks for reading — and if you check it out, I hope you find something useful or inspiring 🙂
