Okay... so I have a plan to run an amnesia intro. The two players will have had their memories wiped. One is an ex-ghoul, and the other works for a supernatural investigation organization. The whole situation will have been created by vampires (enemies of the ghoul's master).
Anyway, they'll wake up in a car crash, across from a cop in a smashed car who has been shot a number of times. They'll have ID, but they'll find that their information has been erased.
The problem I'm having, is where do I go from here. I know they'll want to figure out their identities and such, but what background story can I run to keep things interesting when they run out of ideas? Can anyone offer any suggestions? I've been thinking about this for a while now, and I can't come up with a good solution. I know I can use enemies busting up their party whenever things get slow... but I'm looking for some overall plot and hint ideas to keep an interesting storyline for them while they figure out who they are.
Right now I am leaning toward having a survivor from the organization the one person had worked for have gone into hiding, and is feeding them clues, but doesn't want to come out too much so he doesn't get caught... but I'm not sure where to go from there.
I'll eventually be bringing 2 other characters into the game as well, if that's of any use. Ideally, I'd like to turn it into a Vampire game eventually, but that's not absolutely necessary.
