Hmm I just got kicked from the WoW server and cant get on.. dont know if the free ride is over or if its my rig. As for Guild Wars, its a MMO developed by a binch of former Blizzard and battle net employees. It looks good, has no monthly fee (supposedly the game will generate content by releasing expansions). The game is geared toward guild and competitive gameplsy, but the developers have content for solo and Player vs Environment groups. The game is very much like a single player experience in that you have a character, level it gain skills, craft etc..However, whenever you quest, you have to choose 4 and only 4 skills before leaving the city zone. Also if you wish to travel to a zone you simply click on a spot on the map and youre there--no long runs. And the quest zones are instanced just for you and your party. So alot of gameplay doesnt depend on how long youve played, but rather the skills you choose. A lower level player could defeat a higher level one if hes got the right skills. It may work or may not, but the ideas the devs are putting in are very comendable and perhaps even gasp revolutionary :) .
