Save that money for wards and glyphs, or a few fire breathing drake's to eat the enemy magic users. </p><p></p><p>thing is in a long term game I expect the magic to be fairly homogenous to a certain level. There may only be two or three old codgers that can cast 9th level spells but there will be a lot more who can cast 5th level spells.
