PEACEMAKER, GRAVES & ASSOCIATES, LLC:
This is a very prestigious law firm that specializes in especially difficult civil and criminal litigation. Their client list runs the gamut, but notably, PG&A never represents ANYONE accused of being involved in organized crime.
…because they don’t want to help their rivals.
PG&A is exactly the legal powerhouse they seem to be, but that’s only part of their story. The firm’s founders were actually the sons of men who had been assassins for organized criminal associations who had been betrayed in some way by the organizations they had worked for. Those sons changed their names sought to avenge their fathers’ betrayals, but not via gunfire. Instead, they attended law schools and became formidable litigators…who ALSO secretly built up a network to rival those of their parents’ employers.
They don’t kill, they outcompete.
Their criminal operatives are often drawn from the ranks of criminals who had been betrayed as the founders’ fathers had been. They know when they’re recruited that PG&A will never actually defend those caught by the authorities- the firm’s reputation must be unimpeachable. But they also know that they’ll get quality representation from OTHER firms, financed by money funneled through an impenetrable labyrinth of shell corporations and offshore accounts. The founders- and those who followed them- valued loyalty most highly because it was not shown to their parents.
