I've got three:

1) Undead elementals. Dumber than a sack of hammers.

2) Undead outsiders. The retarded brothers of that sack of hammers.

3) Reasonless cosmology changes done in the name of simplification. It's like leveling a city, nerve gassing the inhabitants, and salting the earth to 'liberate' the place.

Completely changing the reach of the astral counter to its theme, nerfing the ethereal, removing the para and quasielemental planes etc. Lovely. Great job. This improved the game how?
I totally agree with you. Soooo lame.... :(

Lidda smoking a joint.

Retro-punk looking armour.
I am still wishful wishing that 4E would be in fact 3.5E with different artists, preferably those of the good old days: Elmore, Easley, etc. I so much hate this retro-punk style, and indeed the Blackguard pic was so grotesque that they changed it for the 3.5 edition... I mean, it's almost the only one pic to have been discarded and replaced.

The entry requierments for Gloriouis Servitor in Lost Empires of Faerun really annoy me.

We have a prestige class with medium base attack bonus progression, so lets require base attack bonus +7

This class has no spellcasting ability, so lets require the ability to cast 2nd level divine spells

This class cannot turn undead, so lets require the improved turning feat

Any of the "normal" ways of meeting the above arbitrary requirements won't have knowledge (local) as a class skill, so lets require 6 ranks in knowledge (local) [only achievable at 9th level as a cross class skill]

In case anyone thinks of taking the education regional feat to gain knowledge (local) as a class skill, and can persuade the DM to let a Mulhorandi character do this, lets have another regional feat requirement (godsight) so there's another rule (only 1 regional feat per character) that you have to persuade the DM to break.

But...We got the Shadow Plane now, with its touch everywhere boundaries!:p

With regards to flavor material, making the demiplane of shadow a full plane was the only decent thing to happen to the planes between the edition changes. Everything else simply has less detail now. Oh, and bollox on the 'touch everywhere' shadow plane. Pah.

The rules are less complex, which is probably a good thing*. Even I've never used the 2e mechanics for spellcasting on the planes, magic items on the planes based on where they were forged etc. That should say something about them ;)

*But it didn't require going all 'Gulliani time' on the Ethereal plane in the process. No excuse for that.

For me, the half-undead template from Dragon Magazine, ESPECIALLY the whole "unborn child is turned half undead when the pregnant mother is killed" thing. HUH?!?! It just does not connect for me, no matter how much someone wishes to push it.

Another thing that did not work for me: the Penanggalan. I know it's based in legend, but I can't take seriously a floathing female vampire head with trailing cholostemy-bag that wants to suck my blood.
