The 13th Wheel of Time book, Towers of Midnight, is due out 2 Nov: Towers of Midnight news
Based on the prior book, The Gathering Storm, if this is similar (and the review at the link above indicates it is) it sounds like Brandon Sanderson is doing a great job of keeping the pace up in bringing the series to a close and closing out the open mysteries. The last book, A Memory of Light, is supposedly due Fall 2011. TGS actually made me glad I picked up the series again -- I'd stopped at Book 8, then picked up the audio books when my wife got into the series. Books 9-10 were pretty useless, but boy did 12 make up for that.
What I find frustrating and ironic, though, is that Robert Jordan is dead and yet he's still finishing his series faster than GRRM.
