I was looking through the 2007 Product Catalog (now that it's filled out until the end of the year) and noticed a gaping hole. We have a Complete Scoundrel and Complete Champion. Combined with the Complete Mage from 2006 we have 3 of the 4 archetypes covered (roguish, divine and arcane) in the "Complete sequels" category. However, we have no fighter sequel (Complete Hero?) in the final 7 months of the year. I find that odd.

Is there anything you think is surprisingly missing?

I'd have to second that one. The last FR book was actually a booklet back in September, "Twilight Tomb" and we won't see another one until this April.

Why is there such a huge break in between FR books now? Worse, there's four FR books, three of which are DM-only and the fourth of which is pure "fluff" only and only talks about timelines (which is freaking FREE online because they took it from the guy who wrote it on Candlekeep.com!)

Environmental book on Heavily vegetated areas (Jungle/Swamp/Forest).

FC III

Mad Mage creature book (Summoning, Elementals, Constructs, Manufactured/Grafted Creatures)

For our group PHB II was Complete Warrior II.

I think that Swamps could be made into a book all their own, but I would be content with a Forest/Jungle/Swamp environment series book. It is sorely needed.

As for the companion for the Complete Warrior, I could be wrong, but I feel that there's been enough of that with the Tome of Battle last fall, and that it's also too expected. They're doing stuff on how to build Evil characters in the fall, which will be neat if they're good books and as for more psionics, I am wondering how the sales of psionics for a Complete Psionic II would go. I wonder how well Complete Psionic did. I also wonder the ratio of people of who use/play Psionics as to those who do not. I just can't seem to believe that this could be in the works anytime soon.

AFAIK?

Expanded Oriental Adventuers

Expanded Epic Handbook

Expanded Savage Species

Races of the Mind

Compleate Mercenary/Myrmidon/Warrior 2 etc....

Forest Walker: Book on using the wilds (trees, hills, etc...) in campaigns without 'extremez' weather conditions.

Return of the DMR blue books. New GMs are I think more in need of how and why things go together than all of these pregenerated adventurers.
