Honestly, it's the published adventures that drives sales of supplements IMO. Particularly campaign setting supplements. As long as the pertinent info is there, I don't care how much extra stuff they use. If I really like it, then, maybe I'll buy the book.

Meh. Got no use for Dungeon. Only care for Dragon but this year, I haven't bought all of the issues since the price increase. I have to look through to decide if it's worth dropping bills.

I voted Core+Supplements, with the caveat (like most everyone else) that they reproduce the relevant information for those who don't have the book. I want them to use the new material they put out in adventures, not only to justify buying them, but hopefully to show the people who worry that anything which is not "Core Only" is overpowered that it is not the case.

What the others have said...

I don't even mind it if they 'simplify' some stuff for space reasons. I know the Mindlink power from the XPH has been reprinted in other books (for those that don't have the XPH) and it isn't quite the same. I don't have the books in front of me so I'm not sure what is difference is (I think the reprinted stuff doesn't have the exansion ability for extra power points - but I 'm not sure).

That's fine - maybe even better. If I have the XPH, I have the full ability. If I don't have the XPH, I have something to work with. It may not be the full ability but it also doesn't take up more space than is necessary.

Now... I'm not saying that I want WotC to say 'buy the book for bonus material' or something like that. Putting a Sword Sage into an adventure with the stances and maneuvers listed is great, then for those without Nine Swords the Sage's abilites are simply 1 per encounter. For those with the book, they will have the info for refreshing the maneuvers. That, I'm fine with.
