April 1st, Circa 1986. A couple of friends I hauled my English Teacher's canoe into his house...while he was sleeping. We placed it in the hallway just outside his bedroom. We were making all of our Move Silently and Don't Laugh We're Being Sneaky checks by a long ways.

The following day, he limped into school. Cast and cruches.

It was funny, in a cruel sort of way.

Well, atleast I thought it was. Then. Still do.

I told him I was involved in the "prank" some years later.

Guilty conscience will do that.

I've got no idea why I told that story.
