Back to Top link at bottom of page <- useful

<FONT color=fuchsia>**NEW**: </FONT>Subscribed threads are indicated with an icon on thread / forumdisplay listings <- Neat!

Quick reply box (with optional "forced" click on post to quote <- Very Cool. Seen this in action on other boards, and liked it a lot.

Insert smilie/vB code where cursor is (IE 5+ Only) <- Please, this is too convenient to pass up. No more trying to put in a smilie in the middle of the post and having it shunted to the end.

Preview on edit <- useful, do we have that now? If not, it would be better to have it.

Ability to add attachment when editing a post instead of just when creating <- very nice, I myself have had several posts where I forgot an attachment. Saves on double-posts.

Reason for editing <- Can't we already do this, with text? Nice, but not necessary. (assuming a checkbox, with a standard "edited for ..." message.)

<FONT color=fuchsia>**NEW**: </FONT>Attempting to post a duplicate thread now results in an error message, and the user being sent back to the forumdisplay listing <- No more double/triple posts! And the crowd rejoiced...

Multiple attachments <- w00t

Preview PM before sending
Ability to send PM to multiple receipents <- Two useful options, though I haven't used PM myself.

Option for users to see who voted for which option (public vote)
When you vote your name is highlighted when viewing results <- Both neat.

Ability to post a poll AFTER a thread had started <- have seen threads that could have used it. Cuts down on erroneous posts as well, if you forgot to include a poll to start with.

Option to find only started by 'username' <- good
Select multiple forums to search <- see above

User Pictures - user can upload a personal picture. This picture is shown in the profile of the user. <- sweet! Like an extra avatar.

Ability to delete old attachments. Ability to limit users to X number of bytes in total attachments. Option to "expire" attachments in CP. <- Has uses

<B>Extended Stats:</B> <- bunch of "cool" features.

Ultimate Ignore (a.k.a - Tachy Goes to Coventry): Admin can specify userid's to that is automatically added to all users ignore lists (although the user him/herself will be able to see their own posts <- The ultimate Mute button!

<B>BB Code</B>
[ thread ] and [ post ] BB Codes added to link directly to threads / posts <- cool...

Overall, bucha cool stuff. So, how much of this candy are we getting? :D

We're *definately* going to be using this one:

Ultimate Ignore (a.k.a - Tachy Goes to Coventry): Admin can specify userid's to that is automatically added to all users ignore lists (although the user him/herself will be able to see their own posts <- The ultimate Mute button!

Much, much better than banning somebody. :)

Will the user know they are being ultimately ignored?

It would be pretty scary if you didn't get any notice. Suddenly people stop seconding your opinions, refuse answering your queries or seize to get upset no matter how good your flame-bait is.

Oh. I suddenly felt very lonely.

What's the minimum # of characters in a post going to be set at? I can see this seriously harming the functionality of the Hive. Heh heh heh.
