[WOTC]D20 Modern: Straight to SRD or NOT?

I haven't seen anything about this, but I wonder if the d20 publishers have been getting irritated with WotC for not getting more material into the SRD? I mean, WotC has insisted on everyone being scrupulously compliant - and rightly so, of course - but hasn't WotC not lived up to its end by taking so long to get the SRD completed?

It would be a damn shame if WotC put d20 Modern into the SRD before doing so for the following:

The rest of the "Core"
Manual of the Planes
Deities and Demigods
Stronghold Builder's Guidebook
Epic Level Handbook

Well, the remaining sections have already been drafted. It just a matter of editing the drafts to make it pleasing to Wizards Legal for them to approve.

BTW, only one intern to process Wizards' copyrighted material into the SRD? And Please don't tell me there is one lawyer in the entire Wizards Legal.

of course

Wotc doesn't really have that responsibility, given that its intellectual property is at issue here, and other companies willingly submitted to the OGL and d20 agreements given their current limits.

And ask yourself, how much does Wotc really have to gain from placing their supps into the SRD, given the limited market for these things in the first time. What could additional optional support possibly have to offer in way of returns through network effects? It might simply not be worth the trouble to have anything but the core rules posted and just compete in a traditional sense with the supp market, in which wotc does very well to begin with, and add to the srd if market demand proves it to be worthwhile, as was the case with the Psihb.

I wouldn't ask Wotc to make a sacrafice which in all honesty very few of us would if we were placed in a similar position, even if the company in question was privately held.

Personally, I wasn't talking about the supplementary material. I was talking about getting all the Core Rules into the SRD. While the d20 publishers entered into the agreement willingly, it also was with the assumption that all the Core Rules, at least, would be released. That still has not happened after two years.

I'd love to get the rest of the core and the ELH in the SRD, but the others are more iffy... I don't know how useful it would be to have it open (in terms of priority).
