Wow, we've had nothing for weeks now. Seriously, wheres that warlock pacts article, or the design and development articles on the others classes (ranger for instance).

Come on WOTC...talk 2 your FANS!

On the other hand, they will be shipping stuff to the printers for additional 4e splatbooks and such every month. And yet, they will have to publish something online if they seriously want to make D&D Insider thing running. So if there are not enough stuff members now, will there be enough of them later?

I must admit, I am little bit discompose by this situation as well.

Also it's a public holiday or something?

MLK Jr. Day. Many public-sector employees will have today off, but it's mostly a crapshoot whether or not private-sector empolyees will. For example, I don't. :\

It may be a holiday today, but I do wish that a new Design and Development article, or something nice and crunchy would come out soon.

You realize they're in the middle of shipping stuff to the printers right now, right?

Even if that were true, that involves one guy emailing a pdf or sending a flunky with a usb device. It doesn't stop someone else from linking a document to the website.

I am increasingly disgruntled by the lack of 'updates-as-and-when-promised' that we have been receiving from WotC.

The digital initiative really excited me at first. I think it has amazing potential. But so far, WotC has pretty much consistently dropped the ball- not posting the articles they say they will when they will, going bi-monthly with Dragon and Dungeon and still not keeping up with the stuff they say will be up, etc.

I had originally planned to subscribe sight unseen to the DI; now, I am much more likely to ignore it completely, given what we've seen so far of the followthrough that WotC is putting out.

I sure hope they have a per month purchase plan, because I will want to try it out, but I don't want to be sucked into a subscription if it's going to be as spotty as the website has been.
