WotC: H1-H3: Please put up art and map galleries

How does this save time if you already own the module? Am I overlooking something here? I don't see how having the maps and art online saves the dm any time or effort at all, to be honest.

Some people use the maps in virtual tabletops, some use a projector to show it on the gametable, some might even print them at battlemat scale. So it is a time saver during the adventure to have than instead of drawing it or creating it on the fly with Dungeon Tiles.

I can see the savings in time. I usually draw my maps using Campaign Cartographer. Then I print them to scale. It does save time at the table.

I imagine that for Virtual Tabletops, the savings are even greater.

I'm all for getting these maps too.

What's the issue, WOTC??
Some time ago, a guy from WotC (I forget who or when) posted that WotC are aware of the demand, but on a list of doing other DDI stuff, amongst others, the high res maps usable for battle maps have lesser priority.

Sorry I can't provide the link.

Guys if you're gonna keep bumping this thread until you get satisfaction, I expect you to be in for a long wait. :)

It is Jack99's fault. See what he just did.

Oops. :p

The squeaky wheel does indeed get oiled sooner rather than later....well somtimes.

Maybe not as sad or troubling as dropping the complete 3E War of the Burning Sky on your toe...or your pet hampster...but for some us, it causes sadness, and trouble.

And if those type of players really want to spend the time memorizing the map, what exactly does it ruin? Their fun is obviously winning the game, not the thrill of exploration, not knowing what's behind the next corner. It's about beating the module. I know my DM is running Sceptor Tower of Spellgard, which I own and was about to run myself in another game, but held off. Now I could open the package and be an expert in the module, answering any puzzles and prepping for the upcoming fight, but for me that takes the fun out of it.

Now I must 4th (or 5th) this request... :)

Please someone PM a link to this thread at The Rouse, or another WotC staffer-of-note!

We need this. NEED. THIS.
