now roll on April and the Fiend Folio...

Here's to that. My dearest hope is that the Fiend Folio will update the remaining Tanar'ri, Baatezu, and Yugoloths that haven't already been converted in the MM, MM2, BoVD, and Tome of Horrors.

More demons and devils?

Geez, how many demons, devils, and other extraplanar nasties do we need? Legions of Hell, Encyclopedia of Demons and Devils I & II, Manual of the Planes, Book of Vile Darkness, Tome of Horrors, Monster Manual II ... all with extra deviltry (some better than others, of course, and some with just or mostly fiends). I know I left out some titles too. To me, saying Fiend Folio focuses on fiendish creatures makes me les likely to buy it. But, perhaps that's just me.

I'm with Khur. Good lord. We've got fiends in books and books of fiends oozing out of every orifice known to man, and some still yet to be discovered. Why, oh why do we need another book with an emphasis on fiends?

Tome of Horrors is the real Fiend Folio. As for the imposter? It's time to file it away Arthur Anderson style! *SHRRRRRED*

I don't think WOTC cares what other topics are covered by other publishers as long as it's not a campaign setting conflict. After all, they are the d20 publisher that's the hub to the OGL.

Just look at all the companies that are doing their own take on the core classes' splat books. How many can you name? ;)

Yep! I'm the opposite -- that's what I want. I love a campaign that focuses on good outsider threats. Kinda an X-files-ish feel to the campaign, or a WFRP feel, perhaps. I can always find a way to integrate more of these bad boys into my campaigns, and I love to have more choices.

What I don't need more of are really weirdo monsters and aberrations that don't seem to fit anywhere except as a game piece to be overcome.

Races of Faerun is what I'm looking forward to most, racial personality clashes always provide cool roleplaying opportunities. For instance, in my current group we have a LN earth genasi and a NG gnome, best ever. :)

Need me some A&E and some Fiend Folio. Can't have enough fiends, and if I can give them new equipment, well that's just a bonus.

Seriously, I like having craploads of fiends because I like to try and have the characters never encounter the same type twice, and I'll be using a lot of extraplanars in my campaign.

Now if someone would just do a book or four of cool celestials.
