WOTC Open Call (novel proposals) -- deadline March 1, or before?

I'm absolutely gutted as now it's 4 March and my submission still has not been delivered :( (it's now 9 days since I posted it on 23 Feb and they said it will take 3-4 days to arrive). If anyone thinks about using AirSure services in the future, think twice.
Rant over ...:(

I'm not sure what the purpose of the sharing is. Are we just showing off our stuff, or are folks asking for critiques?

I'm posting from a hotel lobby in Edmonton, so regardless, I'm not putting mine up any time soon. :)

Don't give up hope. Although the time is up for the premier book, WOTC has a nice note on there site saying they are still accepting proposals for future books.

Not to mention Tor, Daw, Baen (all of whom take unagented submissions), several reputable small presses like Five Star Publishers, and any number of e-publishers. You've done the hard part -- getting a novel written. Now get it into the mail! :)

Well, simultaneous submissions tend to be frowned upon, from what I've heard. Of course, given how long it takes to get a response from one of these companies, it might still be wise.

I didn't actually suggest simultaneous submissions. I was listing places that Pencilone could possibly send the manuscript, assuming that if it's this far past the deadline, it won't be accepted for the main fiction.

Thanks guys.

I've just tracked it and it seems that it was delivered yesterday 10 March after 15 days. I can only assume that they took it on foot from San Francisco (25 Feb) to Renton (10 Mar).

Anyway, I'm elated: my submission is there at last!
