WotC Product Line beyond April 2005

Maybe you did, but I've been paying attention and haven't. At least two books -- Ultimate Battlestations and Dan Wallace's Clone Wars Sourcebook -- are at least partly written, maybe that's what you're remembering. I've read conflicting reports about what indications Bill Slavicsek gave at Gen Con.

I think that WotC is waiting to see with the Star Wars license will get a sales boost with Episode III to then decide on what to do. However, I wouldn't be surprised if they are not releasing anything to avoid incompatibility with an unannounced new version of the Core Book to be released with the movie.

Yeah, I also remember at least one other thing...but what it was eludes me at this point. The biggest thing is there's just too many conflicting reports coming from everywhere. It'd be nice if they'd at least mention something instead of giving us info that supports both sides...

Another 'Environmental' series book following up Sandstorm and Frostburn

I would expect two more of these before or around the end of 2005. I'd like to see them dealing with Forests and Mountains as I use those far more than Deserts or Arctic regions. This could end up going on forever, of course: Swamps/Marshes, Steppes/Plains, Oceans/Seas, Caverns, etc.

I've been thinking lately it's about time we got some more information on WotC's product line beyond April 2005.

Well, I can't talk specifics, but what I can tell you is that the product schedule beyond April 2005 includes the first WotC project I've worked on. :D

[/excited bragging] ;)

I seem to remember comments by WotC employees that they were working on SWd20 books. Now, this could be just more of the Ultimate Missions line of things to go with the minis, but somehow I'd doubt it. It seems like its a lot of speculation on both sides of the court with this one...
I just bought the Rebel Storm Ultimate Missions book today and one thing that immediately jumped out at me is how hard it tries to be a bridge product between the SW Minis and the SW RPG. It seems to me that would be a very odd thing to do if WotC had any plans to cancel the RPG line anytime soon. Then again few things corporations do ever make sense to me.
