WotC releases for March 2007: Cormyr, Magic Items, Star Wars RPG

A quick search didn't turn up a post about this, but there's a listing on amazon.ca for "Cormyr: the Tearing of the Weave", by Rich Baker, Bruce Cordell & David Noonan due out in March 2007. Hopefully, this is the Cormyr setting book - and good timing, too, to account for the Shade Enclave's manipulations of the country...

Also noted for March 2007 is the Magic Item Compendium and the new edition of the Star Wars RPG that's been talked about elsewhere.

The title sounds more like an event book than a setting book.

On the WotC boards Rich Baker has said the Cormyr book is an adventure in a new format that they haven't done before. That's the only detail he would give about it.

Different than the upcoming Moonsea sourcebook?

I suppose we'll know more after the R&D adventure discussion seminar at GenCon, then. Ah, well; a guy can hope. :)

The magic item compendium will be on my probably list. The other two I'm not too sure about. I've not been too into FR lately but who knows...if the reviews are good I might give Cormyr a chance. The prequel trilogy pretty much drove a stake through the heart of my undying love for Star Wars, but maybe by March I'll have gotten over the pain of Darth Vader as Darth Whiner.
