WotC Unveils Draft of New Open Gaming License

As promised earlier this week, WotC has posted the draft OGL v.1.2 license for the community to see.

A survey will be going live tomorrow for feedback.

The current iteration contains clauses which prohibit offensive content, applies only to TTRPG books and PDFs, no right of ownership going to WotC, and an optional creator content badge for your products.

One important element, the ability for WotC to change the license at-will has also been addressed, allowing the only two specific changes they can make -- how you cite WotC in your work, and contact details.

This license will be irrevocable.

The OGL v1.0a is still being 'de-authorized'.

nope Piazo is puting out it's own licence... PF 1 will be ORC

a see it now it is a sub section of the SRD pages 56-104, 254-260, and 358-359
So does not include :
races
classes
spells
monsters
Gods
Planes of existence
Miscellaneous creatures
And NPCs that are in the SRD.

PF2 will be ORC. (Or possibly PF2.5 or 3, if they determine scrubbing the last vestiges of WotC OGC constitutes a big enough change to warrant a new edition number.) PF1 won't be ORC. It can't be. There's too much stuff directly and obviously derived from the 3.5 SRD.

So your belief is that PF can just license the content previously covered by the Wizards license, which Wizards is revoking?

Problem solved folks. I will just provide you all with the Scribe Open License (SoL) and everything will be fine!

PF2, and Starfinder will be ORC.

They can't do that with PF1, because PF1 depends on the 3.5 SRD, and the 3.5 SRD is neither already available under the ORC, nor owned by Paizo giving them the freedom to put it out under the ORC.

For Pathfinder 1 to still be able to be used for further open gaming, OGL 1.0a has to survive.

So the new CC rules for making 5e isn't enough? What can't be back engineered? Pathfinder already has it's own class race and level up rules, I believe that Level up does as well.
