My first post on ENWorld I believe. This isn't meant to be sarcastic at all, and maybe someone else already pointed it out (didn't read every post), but how do we know this is a 4e session?? I went to the original link and don't see any indication of it being 4e. I've not tested 4e yet, but am very familiar with 3x, and I didn't see any references to this be 4e related. In fact, I've run similar encounters many times in 3e. Maybe it's 4e because of where he posted on gleemax - not that familiar with that site yet.

another legitimate question is does this sound like D&D to you?
It certainly sounds like D&D to me. I think this is a good step in showing that 4e is still D&D, not wow. I play a lot of wow, these options aren't there in that game. This wasn't an article about crunch and differences in 3e and 4e, it was a display of how D&D is D&D in 4e.
