Would Michael Jackson be a Bard or an Expert?

In my opinion, I think that if real life performers were given DND classes, they would most likely be high level Experts that focused their class skills in a given area.
Pretty much everyone in the real world has either Expert, Warrior or Commoner as their class, or some slight multiclassing going on in there. d20 Modern would do a better job.

I wish I could remember who it was who came up with this idea: he called it The Arnold Test, and it was his litmus test for a modern-day era RPG. The Arnold Test was, can you recreate Arnold Schwarzenegger - a normal real life person - in that system. Someone who has greater than average strength, loads of money, political influence, connections to 'old money' influence, a level of fame that means pretty much most people on Earth are going to recognize him, etc.

MJ as a forgotten realms priest

Well, sadly, I think Michael Jackson is one of the rare male priests of Loviatar. Her priests are known to scar and disfigure themselves becase they like it. And remember when he dangled his kid off a balcony? There's definitely some sort of S/M thing going on there.

Another possibility could be a priest of Leira, goddess of illusion (since he is trying so hard to look white). He seems to have no grip whatsoever on reality -- fits in with her whole deception/illusion portfolio. Of course, Leira is now dead and Cyric is masquerading as her ... explains why Jackson has become so crazy recently .... :\

Thanks for all the great responses everyone!

It never even crossed my mind to use Undead or Aberration, hehe.

I agree that D20 Modern would probably be the better system, but I am trying to create interesting NPCs for a DND campaign.

Wormwood, great stats! I don't think I will have to put in as much work as I thought. Why Thrall of Demogorgon? I don't have BoVD.

I was a bit stumped thinking up histories that weren't too generic and then I just took a look at my "dreaded_beast" avatar and the rest is history, hehe.

Of course, I will not be using the name "Michael Jackson" for the NPC and "DND-erize" his history.

Hehe, he may have a "family" of lesser known lackeys that either serve him or fight against him: Tito, Latoya. And then there could also be a great "rival/ally", his sister Janet.

Imagine a campaign where the BBeGs are Bards or Experts, hehe.
