Would you allow this?

I'm at work so I may be hazy on the details.

The first feat I think it's called Innate Spell.

Prereqs (I think) are Silent and Still Spell

The feat allows you to permanently make one spell slot into a 3/day Spell-like Ability.

The other feat would be Supernatural Transformation from Savage Species.

Which allows you to change a spell like ablity into a Supernatural one.

So for 4 feats you would have a 3/day supernatural ability.

Would you allow it?

seems quite a cost for a relatively low return. So long as the character met the prerequisites for the given feats, I'd allow it.

I'm not sure why this was moved...

All of the feats I listed are in WotC books. I just wanted to know if the rules supported them working together.

I just think it would be handy to have 3 Supernatural spells (Say Fireballs) available which are not subject to SR and thus would affect creatures such as golems and baddies with high SR.

Because I didn't realize that they were WotC feats. Sorry about that; I'll slide it back.

If this ever happens in the future, please don't reopen another thread in the original forum. Far better to report the post (link next to the edit button) and we'll sort things out.

I'm not sure even non-SR Fireballs would be all that powerful. Show us a write-up! :]

Ah, here's the solution:

Golem entry, SRD:
Immunity to Magic (Ex): Golems have immunity to most magical and supernatural effects, except when otherwise noted.

IOW, the golem still ignores the fireball.

Immunity to Magic (Ex): A clay golem is immune to any spell or spell-like ability that allows spell resistance.

Immunity to Magic (Ex): A flesh golem is immune to any spell or spell-like ability that allows spell resistance.

Immunity to Magic (Ex): An iron golem is immune to any spell or spell-like ability that allows spell resistance.

Immunity to Magic (Ex): A stone golem is immune to any spell or spell-like ability that allows spell resistance.

Hmm... This is always how we've played golems. Maybe that's wrong.

True. The specific case of the monster entry probably over-rules the general statement in the overall description.
