Would you buy a set of miniature stat cards?

So if they made the stat cards for the D&D game available in a somewhat larger format that included suggested treasure, would you use them? Same art and info but in an easier to use format. Somewhat like the old AD&D cards.

I suppose it would depend on the price. A card catalog of monsters would be pretty neat. Even my notes can get unruly depending on the size of the encounter. For example, recent game involved three separate combats at the same time, each involving different types of undead (death knights, wights, wraiths, liches, and vampires). Instead of flipping back and forth through notes and the MM, little cards with the stats would have saved me headaches.

Probably not. The stat cards often don't list all the creature's feats & other abilities, for example, which makes them less than ideal to me.

I'd be tempted to buy them, but I do so much templating and advancing that they probably wouldn't work for me. For instance, I doubt WotC would make a card for a Magic-Immune Spiked Advanced (10 HD) Guardgoyle, with electricity and sonic immunity and Born of the Three Thunders feat applied to its (increased damage) shriek weapon.

Probably not - to me it's much more helpful to write down the stats myself. When I do that I rarely forget anything about the creature/spell/encounter.

If I just relied on a cards, well, that's not much different from just having a book on hand.

I'd buy it. I lost most of my pre-deathnell stat cards that were in a big card binder. I have several power peices i would be able to sell/trade off.

No.

I can't really imagine using them. I use so few of the "common" D&D monsters anyway that it probably wouldn't be worth it.
