Would you listen to an official EN World podcast?

Yes, I would, but only for unique content. News? Bah, can get that anywhere. News with a relevant interview? Much better.

Obviously, interviews with the kind of people you're now getting to do your newsletter articles would be awesome.

Normally a lurker here Morrus, but I figured I pop in and let you know I'd listen to your podcast. Especially if besides the news and interviews you included a little something every show to help me be a better player/dm. Oh and 30 mins is fine to start while you're still roughing it out, but keep in mind my commute is 45 mins :P

I just thought of something - could have been mentioned already, I'm not sure...

...but I love when podcasts reference articles or in this case forum posts - good one's, where you "can get in on the discussion" etc. Could be a segment covering hot forum topics or something - discussing them a little as well as getting people involved in them here (replying, etc). I like hearing people discussing topics I have been involved in, etc.

For example...

- "'Removing homogenity from 4e' posted by user 'jmucchiello' has been a hot topic lately Joe, what do you think", "Well, I agree with the OP there because..." etc etc.

It may just be me, but this kind of thing draws me in - my ears perk up as I have seen that post and/or been active in it and now I want to hear (in someones voice) their response to it.

Anyway, just tossin' it out there as an idea for a segment ;)

Disregard as needed!

What I would recommend here is setting up a free K7 voice mail number, which will allow you to have voice mails on your show that you can respond to.

Slice of SciFi does that and they get a whole show a week out of responses.

Oh! Call in episodes are great. I only know of one rpg cast that's done that.

They piped in a line and could unmute select callers and confab. It was a lot of fun.

Yes and yes! This I would dig in a big way ;)

I'd say yes, I would listen to an EN World podcast. I've started expanding the number of podcasts that I listen to and I definitely have room for another one (especially an EN World one). It would probably have to be on iTunes to definitely get me to listen though. It just keeps all my podcasts in one spot that way and makes downloading them easier (plus I'm lazy! :D).

This thread is a bit confused about what it is? The title indicates its a poll, but it seems to be more of a discussion or show of hands.

Why not make a poll?

Personally, I'm not a podcast fan - never bothered tp try them. An ENworld podcast might make me try the medium, but no promises.

I certainly would subscribe to it. I go to work with public transport and that gives me 40 min daily to either read crappy newspapers or intelligent RPG related podcasts :)

There aren't many good rpg or D&D podcasts around so another one would be welcomed for sure. Re-listening those old Penny Arcade D&D podcasts is getting old and the new ones are only released once per week. So, yes, I'd certainly listen to a well done ENWorld podcast. *thumbs up*
