WoW 1.9 Patch Notes

I'm really excited for this patch. Not only will I get two new raid dungeons to do with my guild, but the linked auction houses should hopefully reduce crowding in Ironforge and Orgrimmar.

Plus, my level 60 orc shaman will have a new spell to play with. :)

DJ, what server is your 60 orc shaman on? I have a level 26 orc fighter on Icecrown.

My shaman (and all of my other Horde characters) are on Doomhammer. My shaman's name is Elfkicker in case you (or any other EN Worlders) decide to make a Horde character on that server.

Heya:

I'm super happy they're adding a Transmute Heart of Fire to (3) Elemental Fire spell. I kind of wish the Totem of Air Tranquility was Totem of Earth Tranquility instead, but I'll probably continue to be in groups getting Windfury or Grace of Air since my character is a rogue (and can vanish/feint). The mage and warlock groups will probably be getting Air Tranquility.

Although I play on the Horde side, I'm happy for the paladins since it sounded like constantly buffing and rebuffing an entire raid was no fun.

Ahn'Qiraj sounds like it's going to be fun. My only complaint is _getting there_. Maybe getting to Silithus is easier for Alliance, but having to fly down from Orgrimmar to raid AQ is going to quickly become painful. I know engineers have some kind of "port to gadgetzan" thingy, maybe something similar will be provided for everybody. ;)

Well, I'd rather get to AQ from Orgrimmar than Ironforge. The former is two flights. The later is a flight, then a boat, then two more flights. Kalimdor flight routes are evil, same with the limited number of ways to get from continent to continent in the first place.

I can't wait for linked auctionhouses either. I heard they were reopening the AH in Stormwind. Is that true?

EDIT: More patch updates.
