Wow, flashback...

I'm A Banana

Potassium-Rich
So I was doing some idle goofing off on Google, and I came accross something I did five years ago for the game and setting that I still love:

Bam.

I won an award for it back in the day (thanks, Ashy!). It's still got some *really* good ideas. Of course, this is back before 3e, and I've come a long way as a writer since then (I see I didn't provide very nice stats for all the changes, I was totally playing fast and loose. ;)), but man...that ain't so bad. :)

It's really awesome to see some people stumble accross it and still enjoy it recently, too. I mean, that's just amazing. I got the award and enjoyed it, but five years later, seeing that someone ran the game, or is going to use ideas from it in their own adventures, just hits me where it feels good. That's the lasting joy. It makes me want to write more.

Quite a shame the d20 companies feel more like using and abusing me recently... :p

Ah, well, just thought I'd share a bit of the past with y'all, and express one of the first joys of being a creative mind that I've had: people I don't know totally liked my stuff. There's not really a more awesome feeling in the world as far as I know. Though I admit, I'm not a father yet.... ;)
