Wow! I am published in D20 Weekly-- How come nobody told me

Ace

Adventurer
Well I am was surprised to see my real name Anthony Phraner as a scoop right here on these boards

Until I saw the scoop I didn't even know and had written the article off

It turns out my "spell books" article was just what they needed.

I don't subscribe to D20 but some of the money will be remedying that :

:D

Thanks Pirate Cat!
Soon I hope I will join some of the ENWorld regulars (including a modest naughty nautical feline) and get something bigger off the ground

I know the feeling :) I wrote a review for them recently, and the first I knew of it's acceptance was when I saw it in print. Same thing with doing a couple character peices for Journal of the Travellers Aid Society . I have two other articles in to d20 Weekly but they haven't seen print yet. I'm just hoping that they are just waiting for an appropriate time rather than having been rejected (which they probably have been; it's been about three-four weeks on the first one). How long was the wait between the time you sent the article and it was published?

I have more ideas, and I'll keep trying. Next challenge: write a Critical Threat for Dungeon.

Same here, first I heard one of my reviews got accepted was when I was contacted about the voucher payments months later. It was not until I checked the archives that I found the review had been posted months earlier. I have since sent in others but no word yet. Hopefully if stuff is not accepted Dale will let us know, although the site says it could take a month or two for him to get through submissions.
