Grrr. I missed it.

Me too, didn't even realize it was on (we game on Sunday night) but I just checked the Fox site and there are TWO rebroadcasts of it prior to Tuesday night's episode. It is on:

Tonight (Monday 4/19/04) at 11:00 PM Eastern & Pacific Time and
Tomorrow (Tuesday 4/20/04) at 6:00 PM Eastern & Pacific Time.

Hmmm.... Definitely the worst of the three seasons, and I've found that this season is getting worse - not better - as it goes along. The massive plot holes, inconsistencies, and improbabilities has resulted in the suspension of belief that this season requires being far too much for me. 24 is still entertaining, but certainly less so as time goes on.

My conclusions?

24 = entertaining, but stupid as hell.

Actually this brings a funny moment to mind. Lets just say it involved 24, a lot of laughs, and some green leaves. Best comedy show on television under the right circumstances.

Ryan, you shall be missed.

Saunders switched nodes... basically, you can't trace it back to his location because he cut off the part of his network that node was on. It's fairly useless now.

Eh, that whole pregnancy providing immunity is relatively untrue. It's entirely possible Michelle is immune to it... though I'm amazed someone hasn't grabbed her and at least taken blood so they can study it. That said, it's a common enough misconception that I can see 24 using it with Michelle. I like her though, so ten bucks says she dies by the end. By the way Remis, she's not showing symptoms as of tonight's episode.

The guy getting out was a bit contrived but adds some tension I suppose... as long as it involves Michelle, I'm happy. By the way, if she does survive, I can't wait to see the effects of the hotel people dying around her on her psyche. One note though... Michelle is definitely not the only one not showing symptoms... perhaps the accelerant made it less able to infect hosts?

Kim... well, I'll take a wait-and-see approach, but I seriously can not believe that she's going to be magically manhandled into the story again. You'd almost think they were writing this as they went along... oh wait, they are for the most part. :)

Overall, I really liked this episode though... it was the culmination of Ryan becoming more human and less a hard-ass, just in time for him to die. I liked how Jack and Ryan didn't tell anyone else. Can't wait for next week! [EDIT] Er... tomorrow! :p

I chose to watch Alias instead, but I flipped on 24 when the commercials came on, which coincidentally came on at the same time as those for Alias.

I did see Jack shoot Chapelle. A question someone on another board pointed out, Jack put in a new clip before shooting Ryan. Maybe blood pellets? I think that is wishful thinking myself.

Not really that coincidental; TV shows arrange commercial breaks at regular intervals. Usually around every 10 minutes or so.
